Peter Lynn Kite Boat at Lake Mojave
We would like to invite anyone interested to come to an informal gathering at Lake Mojave for some kiting on water on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 29 & 30. Peter Lynn and I will be there featuring his new Kite Boat for everyone to ride. Lake Mojave is also one of the best fresh-water kitesurfing locations in the country, so bring your board too. We have all seen the picture of Chuck Patterson jumping over the tree at the "secret spot" in the desert. Well, the cat's out of the bag! Lake Mojave is THE "secret spot". Strong, smooth wind and warm turquoise water are a year-round expectation at this location.
From Vegas, take 95 South to Searchlight NV. Go East on 164. 5 miles or so out of Searchlight, you will see GIANT power lines running perpendicular to the road, go under these and take your first right onto the dirt road. Then take your first left. About 2 or 3 miles on that road will take you right down to our launch site. Hope to see you there!
