Welcome to the inception of the North American Buggy eXpo!
NABX has been created by a core group of buggying experts with vision, focus, and a desire to nurture and expand the North American Buggy eXpo - the premier North American buggy event of the year.
SBBB organizers changed the name of the gathering at the Ivanpah Dry Lake Bed to reflect the more international aspect of the event. As well as to promote a more global culture and help foster a community of cooperation among buggyers from around the world.
NABX has dedicated itself to excellence. We firmly believe we can combine an abundance of fun while putting an emphasis on sharing knowledge, encouraging education, and supporting the traction movement.
The North American Buggy eXpo plans to keep the best elements of the desert event, while continually adding new portions. There will be an exciting mixture of growth with tradition at this groundbreaking event. Including but certainly not limited to; different racing styles (freestyle, geocache), impressive drawings and raffles, and a gourmet banquet under the desert stars.
NABX will also be extending the buggying time at additional dry lake beds in the Mojave Desert. Our west coast headquarters are 1.5 miles from El Mirage Dry Lake.
The first of many incentive programs being designed by the NABX committee is the tire program for international guests. It is going to simplify international travel for the buggier coming to NABX.
NABX is a proud leaves no trace organization that has worked closely with the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) for many years. Each of the NABX committee members has extensive buggy experience and are avid year round buggiers.
The event organizers will encourage sponsorship participation that will benefit the buggier and future of the sport of buggying. Providing the sponsors with year round exposure on the Internet site is a priority of the NABX team. Sponsorship placement on the award winning t-shirt design is exposed to a worldwide market of highly sought after demographics (male 18-34).
