The Enduro, Cookout and some Surprises

The winds were back on Friday. Fran briefs the pilots prior to the Enduro
68 pilots answered the horn for the 1:30pm start of the 50 mile, 20 lap event
After 2 hours and 40 minutes of fierce competition, Johan Verslois of
the Netherlands crossed the finish line in first place
The Dutch contingent helps Johan celebrate his victory
The race ended at 4:30pm. Race officials tallied the tick marks
to determine the official final finishing order
The annual cookout was attended by over seventy hungry pilots.
Thanks to the cookout crew for putting on another fine event
Some adventurous pilots set out on an expedition to find the mythical
"Phone Booth in the Desert". Apparently they found it. Ask Dean!
