Attendee Guidelines

Please take a moment to review the rules for attending the NABX. These rules are absolute and will be enforced during the event.

Guests and Participants

  • No one may attend or participate in any of the NABX activities or meals without paid registration. Late minute registration will be accepted at the event. Please display your NABX buggy tag on your buggy at all times.

  • The NABX Racing Rules will be in effect during organized racing activities. Absolutely no other racing rules will be allowed or acknowledged.

  • No extracurricular activities or races may occur without express prior consent from the NABX organizing committee.

  • Minimum safety equipment (helmut +) is required to be worn at all times while operating a kite-powered vehicle or kite jumping. Kite jumping is discouraged due to the hard surface.

  • Attendees are responsible for properly disposing of their trash. Trash collection is not provided at the site. This is a leave no trace event - pack it in, pack it out (cigarette butts too).

  • Dog owners are asked to keep their dogs on a leash while in the parking area and properly dispose of their waste.

  • Motorized vehicles must remain on the entry road along the eastern shoreline. The speed limit is 30 MPH. Only wind-powered vehicles are allowed on the lake bed.

  • Campers: grey or balck water may not be emptied on the lake bed or shoreline.

  • Respect nature. BLM asks that attendees keep a minimum of 50ft away from the shoreline.

Commercial Entities

  • No product demonstrations or sales are allowed at any time during the NABX main event.

  • The right to display commercial flags or banners is reserved for paid event sponsors only. Check with the NABX team regarding how to become a sponsor.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

If you have questions about these guidelines, please contact the NABX organizing team.
